There wasn't a current .dat file in that folder, so Idunno' if it'll work, but I placed it there anyways and will report back later with the results.

EDIT: Upon starting up SMRPG it now has a "Found speedhacks, applying" message, so it seems it accepts it. It didn't speed up the slow parts of the intro (when the sky turns black and bowser kidnaps peach), I haven't tested it further.

I wasn't able to speedhack the intro without crashing the game. Other parts of the game should be faster (using the frame counter might help to verify if it's making any difference at all).

I believe the .dat file also has an updated Chrono Trigger entry, with the same deal - intro is the same speed, but other parts of the game should be faster.

While on topic I'd like to ask a noobish question about gpSP.
Where exactly on the memory card do I put it? What folder do I put the folder in? ISO? GAME? etc.
And I'm on Gen D3 and I've heard that this CFW isn't particularly good with homebrew stuffs?

Homebrew goes in GAME.

GAME/gPSpwhatever/EBOOT.PBP (and all of it's other files the way you found it).

The Gen firmwares lack support for the oldest homebrew (from the time of 1.0 and such), that's not an issue here.

Alright, thanks!
