GB and GBC repro cart questions

I just purchased this https://www.tindie.com/products/JRodrigo/cart-flasher-for-gameboy-/ to extract saves. My question is, can this be used to make repro carts of rom hacks (like pokemon prism) and what would I need to make one?

You would need cartridges specific to the flasher's software. I believe your best bet is BennVenn's Reader/Writer "joey-joebags". It can flash to the chrp Chinese knock-offs. I have one, I'm just too stupid to get it to work, though.

Sell it to me. I am trying to get a few old carts working, and no one is willing to part with a linker box from an EZ 1, 2, or 3. It has been high on my list to try the Joey Bag.

I'm not willing to part with it just yet. I'm able to read/dump, but I haven't been able to reflash anything yet. That's only been with the Windows .EXE, though. I haven't had time to bother with the proper Python installation.

This looks like a clone of this flasher, which the Smart Boy is a clone of, too. You'll have to either get a Smart Boy cart or build a cartridge according to specs at that site to use it.
