Hacking Gateway3ds Release Date

greetings this is my first post so dont go crazy on me

i have a few questions
*When will the gateway3ds be released
*What does the other thing that comes along the gateway3ds do?

Gateway updated their site 3 days ago saying that they expect to send their first units to resellers within the next 14 days. They also said that the ''blue ds cart'' prepares the console. Nobody knows for sure what that exactly means though.

1) No one knows the exact release date, only its within the next 2 weeks

I think it's pretty obvious that "preparing the console" is zinglish* for "updating the console". Mostlikely to the fimrware update that they can run the gateway 3ds on.

I completely disagree with this. The way I see it, this is more like a "pass key" as we've seen in the first generation of DS consoles.
The first card probably prepares the console for a hot-swap...

I don't understand why it would need to be ''updated''. Anyway I think we shouldn't make assumptions like this as it will probably just confuse people. We will just have to wait for further updates and hopefully the review we were promised.
