CFW will let you install CIA, which can include homebrew CIA. It also lets you install romhacks, and Hans's LayeredFS is better than Gateway's romhacking. In addition, I can overclock my n3ds to play o3ds games at faster speeds, can FTP with my 3ds, can have a custom boot screen,

Gateway is a card that originally was ONLY for piracy. What can you do on gateway other than .3ds files, which are 99% "of pirashit"

You can use NTR cheats without a PC, or are you retarded? It's only for finding cheats with NTR that you need the debugger.
I don't like NTR plugins UI
I can't search cheat offline.

too much talk for nothing

Argh, you call yourself a native American, please improve your spelling and grammar.
I can choose my country

The flag you see is the USA flag yes, but it's not my country
welcome to the internet !

The problem with the argument lies in the context. To say that GW "intentionally bricked consoles" would be debatable since it implies they were doing it to their own customer base, which they did not. Did bricking occur in GW users? Yes. Did they do it intentionally? No. But what about those poor poor people using the clones, you ask? Technically, the clones are to blame, no? I mean, it's like blaming Nintendo because your K1 or Woodi GBA blew up in your face. Now before you go rummaging for your pitchforks and torches, people need to calm down a notch and realise that just because some people points out why GW does it doesn't mean they are defending them. Just because I understand why they did it doesn't mean I like it. It's just it seems ridiculous that their contributions to the scene are entirely ignored because of it. It's like people constantly harping on Sky's initial 10 games (or was it 20?) limitation. Or the fact that they were required to release several iterations. Whether it was a deliberate business move or a lack of foresight, I cannot say for sure. It's just like with Total_Noob and the first TN-X. Sure it was a dick move, but still, credit where credit is due.

EDIT: And while I was typing this up, someone just had to start with all name-calling. Why can't we all stay classy :( Whhhyyyyyyy?
