Same here, I never changed the exploit installer (the one used with the blue card). Perhaps we should ask the unfortunate ones that bricked what installers they used? I haven't bricked (yet), and I plan on staying away from the DS Profile until the smoke clears.

I used the blue card installer from the 2.02b zip file from Gw's download page when i bricked.

They give you the names of the zips, just change the URL of the current DL link.
