Did you install games as .cias? Loading takes twice as long for me now after doing that, but still not 10-15 seconds though.

No cia-files installed. It appeared after putting 2.6 Launcher on SD-Card, launching gateway mode and doing a upgrade to latest emunand. I did not format emunand, it should not be necessary right, I did the proper "update"-way?

9.2 emunand does load a lot slower than older emunands. If your SD card is slow like a class 4 that might be why. I use a UHS1/class 10 sd card.

Hey guys I'm still pretty new to this and only had to update my gateway card once to 2.3 or whatever. What exactly do I need to do to update to 2.6? Also if I'm getting a new faster SD card should I just wait and set everything up fresh on there? Lastly is it still safe to update the emunand on this most recent GW update to be able to go online? Thanks.

Can anyone help me with the install of devmenu and SaveDataFiler? I updated my card to 2.6 but there is no devmenu option to install cia, I tried to download the dev kit and renamed devmenu.csu to .3ds then launch it, but I keep getting error when trying to install cia files.

Pretty sure 9.X loads icons slowly even on sysnand. Probably designed for the new 3ds with the old being an after thought.
I was thinking along the same lines, because it looks like it's simply unoptimized theme code. I wonder if Nintendo will care enough to optimize it, but I'm doubtful. Meh, wish Gateway simply had enough system access to make its own menu... I'm more into a simple game name lists anyway.
