Hacking gateway or sky?

I know aloy of people ask this but I registered here for all the support, I bought a n3ds and want to either sell my old xl with nand backup no mod and use a gateway or sky 3ds and wondered what gbatemp would do ? Thank you for your time

You can only use Sky3DS and Clones on the N3DS at this moment.

while only sky works on n3ds right now I always tell users the same thing.

If your firmware is 9.2 or below then gateway

If your firmware is 9.3 or higher then sky

Look at the features that Gateway has to offer, compare to what Sky3DS has to offer, make a decision, it's really simple, you don't need anyone else's opinion.

Sky3DS, of course. The gateway is not coming to n3DS (XL). So dont even bother.

Gateway doesnt work NOW on the N3DS. Only Sky3DS works on N3DS.

That's the thing I have an xl with a band backup of 4.5 and 9.2 so I could pay for a nand mod then downgrade from 9.5 but the new 3ds I bought at meijer in Michigan has 9.0 so I will probably sell my nand backups with the 3ds and just wait for gateway so I can get nand backups for my n3ds for whenever the pinnouts are recorded.

If your N3DS is 9.2.0 or lower and you have a lot of patience, Gateway. If it is above 9.2, or you're impatient, Sky3DS.

Sky+gatewait. Just get both but dont update to 9.2+ and wait for GW support while enjoying sky. Anywys GW wont release anything in 2 months+

I can't really justify spending 90$ on a flashcard in addition to another for 70$ but I am likely to get a gateway for my personal use, will probably get sky3ds for the gf as she is on 9.5

I don't see a reason to buy sky. Ninjhax can keep you busy until dstwo+ or gateway releases their stuff

I like my Sky. Love playing MH4 online without any issues.
If I didn't have a Sky, my N3DS would be an expensive paperweight.
As it is, I am actually using it to game.

Since I have retail games and a ofw console I'm not too worried about online I just want cias and backups and the like. Cfw stuff like that so that's why I'll get gateway of they release before dstwo

After playing games on the N3DS, I can't go back to my old 3DS. The 3D alone is sooooo much better, not to mention the crisper colors, better graphics with MH4, and extra buttons.

I agree I played both side by side mainly because I don't want my n3ds to connect to the internet so I connect the xl and the n3ds blows it out of the water processing wise, besides circle pad pros don't have the stick close to the attack buttons and are expensive.

Not an exorbitant amount to where I can buy both. I'm going to sit on the new3ds and if I can't wait I'll get sky 3ds for my ofw device and try to avoid a system update if sky is incompatible in the future
