I've sold my GW a long time ago but I still have my OOT with the save file thing loaded from GW.

Is the GW OOT modded save the same as OOTHax?

I'm just curious about GW OOThax being able to install HBL on 10.6/10.7. Wondering if I have to get a powersave to load the new OOT or it OOThax is the same as GW's modded OOT save file.

If you have a 3DS at or below 10.5 firmware or have a way to boot Gateway firmware before you update to 10.7, you should use the homebrew OoThax installer, which is included in the starter.zip pack hosted at https://smealum.github.io/3ds/ , through the homebrew channel.

On Gateway CFW, you can use DevMenu.3ds to install this CIA to access homebrew launcher via a channel: https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader/releases (You still need boot.3dsx on root)

Yeah, I've read those things. If I have a 3ds on 10.6/10.7 I will have to use OOThax to install HBL but I'm not sure if GW's OOT save file will allow me to install HBL
