Hacking Gateway and M&L Paper Jam Question

I read on another thread that Mario & Luigi Paper Jam EU Version requires FW 9.5 or higher? I pre-ordered the US version and my Gateway EmuNAND is I think 9.5.0-23 or something. Anyone know if the Firmware requirements are same for both EU and US versions? I know the US version is not out yet, but wonder if Nintendo would change requirements between game versions... Thoughts appreciated
