ok just because i know there was a few people with spi fail issues with their gateway cards who where unable to get a replacement card from their resellers i asked teensy if they had any faulty cards that had been returned that i could take a look at and there is a quick fix that appears to work ok, but as you will see in the video its not 100% stable but the 2 cards i was sent are now both pretty much working fine, hopefully this will be helpful for those left with faulty cards.

Looks like a good quick fix. Is the solder connection the issue with these cards? If so, would taking a heat gun to it to reflow the solder be
a good idea? I've used a heat gun on a failing ram chip ages ago and it seemed to work. I've also used it on my xbox 360 that
got the rrod, but ultimately that system failed in the long run.
