Hey everyone, I was wondering what firmware the gateway 3ds supports? My NA 3ds XL is on ver.9.0.0-20u. can I use a gateway flashcard on it, and how does the gateway flashcard work anyway? Any useful information would be helpful. thank you!

No, Gateway just works with versions from 4.1 to 4.5. Gateway works because There is an exploit that only works with 4.x consoles that is able to run backups but it was patched in higher versions. They said they have something for the new 3ds (9.x) but if you dont like to wait you should buy an sky3ds but it has regionlock and a 10 game per card limitation

Gateway 3DS only works, and will only ever work on 4.x 3ds systems. You can't use a gateway 3ds on your system. As to your question as to how the gateway card works here's a quick break down - gateway 3ds comes with a blue card (cheap DS flashcard) and a red card (Gateway 3DS flashcard). The blue card runs the 1st in a 2 step exploit process. The first is called the "Mset exploit", and all the required files are on their website. After the Mest exploit, you get taken back to the system menu of your 3ds, you go to settings, other settings, profile, Nintendo DS - that will execute step 2, which will boot you into gateway mode (red card needs to be in the card slot). After that, press SELECT, and the loaded 3ds roms will pop up, pick one, and then start playing the roms. Any other questions, I'd be happy to answer.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

Nah, a hit gives them mad meth powers, but makes them more difficult to control.

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
