In my Country (Indonesia) ... we easily to find this Gateway...
Every gaming store have it.. Rp. 800.000 ($79)
and have replacement guarantee too.. for 1 month...

Yay... :D

I bought the gateway card from nds-card and enter my tracking number at http://app3.hongkongpost.hk/CGI/mt/mt2result.jsp on a daily basis and behold, the status now reads:

"
Destination - Australia
The item (RC*********HK) was posted on 6-Sep-2013 and is being processed for delivery to the addressee."

So hopefully I will get the Gateway delivered next week, I cant wait :yaynds:

So they lied about the packages being processed despite no tracking info were available.

This status means it has just been scanned and that it's far from being shipped to the destination country.

the status will change to "process for departure of hong kong" then "will leave hong kong" and finally "left hong kong for it's destination" and it can take a couple days (3-4).

My tracking says the same thing, I'm not expecting it before the 14th of september (and I'm optimistic).

I thought it got delivered :(... I forgot there were several steps before it is actually shipped out of Hong Kong. So a next week delivery would be out of the question :(...

So nds-card lied about shipping Gateways (they sent me an e-mail at 08/27 saying "order shipped" and the HK post site says shipped on 09/06) and made up a story about tracking system errors. Yeah, reeeeeeeeeally fair. The least GBATemp could do is to revoke supporting the site (since the reason I bought it from there was that it was recommended by the temp). Unless you were in this, which I SERIOUSLY hope you weren't.

+1 on nds-card tracking updating. Mine says the same, item processed for delivery to UK.

Also only ordered from nds-card as they were the official sponsor. Seemed to be the last/slowest of the Chinese sites to get the things in stock, then claims they went out on the 27th, only for tracking to say they were posted today.

I'm kind of glad to see that many people have problems with nds-card.com, because they lied to each and everyone of us. I think that most of us ordered from there because they are a trusted reseller of gbatemp. Well, it seems that nds-card is not to be trusted. They did even worst things on me because I had ordered delivery via DHL and they sent it with registered air mail (you can check some posts back to see). Let's at least hope that the products will be in great condition.

I'm fed up with nds-card.com as well. My order was supposedly posted on the 28th of August, but the tracking number I got still doesn't return any results. I have mailed Hongkong Post directly to confirm whether or not such number exists in their system, and to ask if there ever was an issue with tracking packages. I'm still awaiting a response.

GBA Temp should definitely reconsider supporting nds-card. The only reason I bought from them was because GBA Temp vouched for the store, and I'm greatly disappointed. The price went up $10 just before I bought it, but I thought "What the hell. They're a trusted reseller. I'd rather pay $10 extra and be sure that I get what I paid for".

An interesting fact is that nds-card.com explicitly states that they will not be responsible for lost packages. Once you add this to the fact they possibly haven't been telling the truth about when and if the packages got sent, it almost feels like a scam. If this was some random store I'd be worried, but I'm hoping that GBA Temp wouldn't vouch for scammers.

I don't doubt it will come eventually. Not responsible doesn't really bother me, that's only with standard registered mail and I've seen other shops do it with high value items (not responsible unless you pay for dhl etc).

It's in hongkong posts system now, so some sort of package is at least on the way.

I think the shipping notice on the 27th + tracking number, actually meant. We've stuck a pre-paid shipping label on your envelope and this is the tracking number, ready for shipping when the Gatways come/when we have enough to make posting worthwhile. Rather than actually being posted then :(.

I pre-ordered from nds-card.com on august 17th... I received shippment confirmation and tracking information on august 27th and now 10 days later, finally the goddamn honkong post tracking is working XD

"Destination- Germany
The item (>>I removed the tracking number here<<) was posted on 6-Sep-2013 and is being processed for delivery to the addressee."

as far as I can tell, they didn't have any stock yet and only now gave the actual gateways to the post, otherwhise tracking would have worked alot earlier... they were simply lying to us about the stock... but anyway, finally the honkongpost will start the delivery process....

Edit: oh and I can even enter the tracking number at DHL to get tracking information from them :-)

Mine isn't, and that's what got me ticked off. It's common sense not to sell a product you don't have in stock, unless it is a pre-order, and in this case it wasn't. I waited for them to update their store before placing my order. It's possible they didn't have anything to ship, but didn't want to lose customers. Still, that's bad for business, as I'm not going to be making another purchase from nds-card.com. Not to mention I have to wait for who knows how long.

Not much to set up... Takes literally 30 seconds :-) Excluding unpacking it and downloading the gateway installer and launcher.dat zip file.

Sadly that's not how it works, it's NDS-card that's supporting GBAtemp, and without a sponsor the site could not afford to stay alive.
It's not uncommon that sites set the status to shipped before they actually ship the item, but it shouldn't take 10 additional days for them to ship it, that's just ridiculous. You should be able to get shipping reimbursed or something for that.

Sadly, a LOT of Chinese resellers do that, they claim to have stock, but they expect preorders anyways. It's unfortunate.

I chose free shipping but if I knew it would take 10 extra days, I would've sucked it up and paid 5€ for shipping from another site that is at least a bit more honest and whose owner can at least speak a tolerable level of english (nds-card's english makes me cringe and it's not even my native language!).

Also, for the users sake, wouldn't it be better to filter whose sponsorship GBAtemp accepts and whose not? It only hurts GBAtemp's reputation to be affiliated with a fraudulent site.

Well, they're not fraudulent. They may have questionable customer service though but that's not uncommon for these chinese sites.

Heh, I've actually seen far worse from other Chinese resellers. Problems that I'm seeing thus far though are definitely questionable, however.
