I have ordered one wth dhl post and they said they got stock on 20/8
But i have not received it yet
And they said they will send me the tracking number later but i dont understand why they cannot give me the tracking number early.

so you ordered from modchipcentral , did you get the coupon code discount and the free usb charger ,(and micro sd reader,which i dont really care about)?
and more important ,what was your total? is shipping free to the US? if not how much is it?

ordered my dstwo from realhotstuff so was thinking about using hem again , but if mod chip central is 5 bucks cheaper and gives extra goodies like usb charer for free i would rather go through them, but not if it is going to add 20-23 $$ to my total for shipping

Heck I dont mind till the end of next week but what im scared of is me being at the end of the preorder line and not have my gateway shipped from the "batch" that is supposed to arrive by the end of next week.

They charge 1-4 days no signature for $4.00 and 1-4 days with signature $6.99
The total with no sd card is $84.45

Well, might means not definite. The thing I got in my email before I saw that said sometime next week, so they didn't lie.

By the way, I'm actually behind you in line. I think the fact that they said they'd have them at the end of the week on the shopping page might be a good thing. It's presented like if you preorder on the update (8/23) you'd get one. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

What resellers offer a six month warranty? And besides, good luck getting them to actually honor that commitment.

Well, that's certainly interesting. I've never actually met a retailer that has a date like that, honestly. The most I've seen thus far is 30 days.

I had a similar situation with Sandisk SSD 64GB, used it for 9 moths then suddenly stop working ( PC would boot).
I had 12 warranty, so I contact their support service and they gave me a RMA code or something like that to send it back.
Good for me they were out of 64GB so they gave a faster 128GB SSD (now in my PC). Only bad things is I lost my data( not big deal though)

Yeah, I thought at first it was a generic warranty, one that they would later say "Oh, sorry, this doesn't apply to Gateway." But I checked two different pages for popular items, and neither mentioned a warranty. So hopefully I can return mine if I suffer the same problems as other people here have (although I certainly hope that doesn't happen).

Returning flashcarts is a pain in the ass. I absolutely hate the process.
