I'm confused.. Everything I've read says the browser exploit doesn't work on N3DS because you need to be on the latest firmware to use the web browser. But I'm on 9.0 and my web browser works fine.. ?

The N3DS has different code apparently compared to the 2/3DS regardless of the version and does not work with the current exploit.

That cia is permanently modifying your system. I strongly suggest downgrading+9.4 emunand instead.

Ya, for the longest time I thought 3DS and N3DS were the same and the N just stood for Nintendo. like NDS. took a bit of googling to find they were completely different.

You're getting trolled, current ofw = 9.4 supported fw by gateway? 4.0-9.2 so upgrading will make you unable to use gateway... at least for next few years.

Hence why I believed you couldn't use the current gateway update with the n3ds atm..

yep, as long as you mean new 3ds.
different browsser you need to wait for a different entry point exploit, given the speed they work i'm guessing it's gonna be released in a week or two, it'll prolly be even a stable version.

Just to be sure, remove your SD card and plug it back in (while the 3DS is switched off) and then retry clearing history/cookies
Mine stopped working too and for some reason leaving the 3DS switched off for a bit with the SD out made it work (could be a coincidence)

edit: Unless you're trying to get to the Gateway Menu. Just hold L while exploit is loading

Welp, took out the sd card when it was off and hold left while it was booting and we are in gateway mode babeh!

Tested Zelda and it works!

Not sure if this is supposed to be happening but I'm having a hard time knowing when I'm in emunand and when I'm in the normal mode, I set a black theme when I was in the emunand, went into settings to check if I was in emunand and backed out ( which always made me get out of emunand ) and it also was black? went back into settings to check and It's not in emunand?

Not sure if this is supposed to be happening but I'm having a hard time knowing when I'm in emunand and when I'm in the normal mode, I set a black theme when I was in the emunand, went into settings to check if I was in emunand and backed out ( which always made me get out of emunand ) and it also was black? went back into settings to check and It's not in emunand?

Anytime you power off the console or exit the settings menu it will kick you back to sysnand.

Organize the crap in your HOME menu differentely than you would for emuNAND. Also, if you install a few .CIAs they'll show up in emuNAND (if you install them in emuNAND of course, which you probably should be in from now on if you formatted it correctly) essentially tiping you that you're in the right track.

Try creating a folder inside emunand ?

For me themes work as a distinction method, but then again i'm on <4.5 and my sysnand doesn't support them.

Lol don't hate man i have a 2DS and it's really satasfying. It's perfect for broke people and people who don't care for the 3D feature much so yes people have Bought it. Anyways is there a way to have the exploit without using the browser though on a 2DS?

Gateway betas seem to be 1 or 2 weeks apart. They're also pretty diligent in getting this to work and they know they're leaving a piece of the userbase out. So they'll release a live version 'soon' enough.

Odd. As far as I recall it, mine doesn't. It's just plain old sysNAND.
