I play FF14 beta and I bought two PC's (one for the wife and me, we met on FF11 actually) just for this game (with Starcraft 2 in mind as well.

I spent $500 and can run the games at pretty much full settings.

Don't spend so much!
I have AMD Athlon II x4 635, XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB, 4 GB OCZ Black Edition RAM, Gigabyte 870A-UD3 motherboard, Corsair TX650w power supply, some cheap $40 case that's really good, and a 500GB hard drive for $40.

All this after rebates is about $500 on newegg.

Save 2/3rd of that money!

I agree with Devante, and look around for deals. I saw a AMD Phenom 1075T 3.0GHz 6 core processor for like $175 at Fry's.

Something with that, combined with a build like Devante's but I'd switch to a GTX 460 and you've got a very powerful computer. If you get a SLI board you can always add in another GTX 460 and have more performance than a GTX 480.
