I saw Brawl was added to MLG and thought it was a joke.

I'm a fan of Brawl and all (I play it enough to know so) but it shouldn't be competitive.

Playing competitively is fun, why wouldn't it be?

Because it wasn't meant to be played competitively. I love Super Smash bros but it's a party game. Sakurai said so himself.

You wanna play something competitively? Stop being a little girl and learn to play a real fighting game like Street Fighter or something equivalent.

I'd rather play video games than have a girlfriend. Say what you will but I gain more pleasure from fully completing a game than having some attention whore bothering me and being selfish by not letting me play video games.

Huh.

This. Even as an avid SSB fan I acknowledge it's not anywhere near as large as popular fighting games. I know they hold tournaments and have it in MLG (although really MLG is FPS games and then one fighter for "variety"), but it's not as competitive as key note fighting games.

I'm twenty going on twenty-one. Don't tell me "I'll grow out of it" like I'm some angst ridden thirteen year old. I don't remember there being a law saying you have to have a girlfriend in order to be happy. If someone finds happiness through being by themselves and playing video games then that's their god given right and no one can take that away.

Sure a girlfriend would be nice but it's not one of my main priorities because I really don't care. Everyone I've encountered that spoke out against my point of view was either underage,in high school or some sad soul whose life revolves around club hopping,getting drunk and attention whoring on social networking sites with 2000+ friends.

I've met alot and observed of women in my lifetime and the majority of them are attention whores suffering from a false sense of entitlement and unwarranted self importance.

A girlfriend is not mandatory to be happy in life and I wish people would stop acting like it is.

I can argue about this all day.
