wouldnt the size be better displayed as dvd5 or dvd9 , or even scrubbed size ( WBFS ) ?

I wandered over here to suggest that very thing... The actual game size (WBFS) would be much more useful info.

I have a spreadsheet with all the NTSC WBFS sizes if that would be useful.

good , now we only need to find these covers in high quality ^^
Most (at least German) Coversites have them in 3236 x 2161

yes

i've found 320 french covers in high resolution.
I'm actually renaming them all with game id , and uploading all in standard size.
i wait for Zorglub to tell me where to put high res covers.

with the help of 4 or 5 guys per country , this database could be complete very quickly !!

Is there any way to delete incorrect information? For instance, a couple of games have incorrect regional covers (eg. Mario Power Tennis NTSC-U has the UK cover uploaded).

think there will be most readable to put the last addition at the top of the list and not in the other wayAbsolutely, it will be changed to the previous way.

there is still a lot in the PAL EN section that are infact NTSC US, but i know its still early days and these will hopefully be fixed over time.I sorted all covers/discs to remove duplicates/wrong region, but I must have left some, I'll soon add a way for you to remove wrong covers.

Please PM me so we can discuss this further, how you'd like this to be exactly.

To make things clear to users, you don't need to rename the file to match the game ID, it is renamed for you when you upload.
You can upload any size, jpg or png, the highest/best quality the better.
But Benjay or any one that has a big update can contact me and upload directly to the ftp of course.

The users that contributed the most so far will soon be able to do that, and as Benjay just said it can be quick.

To geedub, it's fixed (it seems to look very close to the official cover, easy to mistake)

I'm using USB Loader GX Rev 581 and I've placed the zipped file (wiitdb.zip) in my Config folder....when I press 2 all I get is a empty rectangle box next to a disc image. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks....

I'm not aware of a problem with r581 but it looks exactly like an issue with the file that was fixed a couple days ago so if wiitdb.zip was not downloaded today this could be it, please try with the latest version and it should work.

and there , it needs to be 6digits names ^^

I'm thinking of allowing 3D covers by uploading a regular cover that would be converted for you, is there any interest for 3D covers?

Seeing as most people use 3D covers in USB Loader GX, I think there would be HUGH demand for this feature. Keep up the good work!

How long doeas it take till the latest additions i made are in the zip file? Or is it automatically updated?

I didn't understand the foreign language title/synapsis-thing. Is it allowed to add a german title to a e.g. japanese version or is it only allowed when the german version is included in the specific image?

The file is automatically updated.
As benjay said, you can add the German title only if there is a German title for this version of the game. The only case when you can add the English title in the German title field is if the game features German language but the title was not localized and you want to add the German synopsis (game description from back cover)
For example the French title for RENP8P was not localized so in order to add the French synopsis the French title needs to be set.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have other questions.

Is the synopsis always from the backcover? I already added some amazone descriptions...

It still don't get it completely: when i got a japanese game (that was never released in germany and doesn't contain any german language) it would be nice for me to read the synopsis in german, wouldn't it? Is this allowed? Or should i delete all german synosis for J-NTSC-game-IDs because they never contain german language in this version of the game?

I think it needs to be done some sort of multi-language setup to read the synopsis in SPA-ENG-FRA-DEU-ITA, don't you all think..??

Or should i delete all german synosis for J-NTSC-game-IDs because they never contain german language in this version of the game? The synopsis should be preferably by the official game description from the back cover. Other sources are ok as long as it's a professionally written description, but those will probably be replaced by the official description later. While it would be nice, I'm afraid adding the German synopsis for Japanese games that don't feature this language would lead to confusion. For a game that was released in Europe, the Loaders could easily be configured to display the synopsis from the PAL version of the game. Meanwhile, as the English title is always supposed to be filled for Japanese games (to be able to display the title without a Japanese font), it's ok to add the English synopsis.

I don't understand what you mean? Are you talking about the site, or Loader GX? Would you like to be able to see the synopsis for all languages from a single language setting in a Loader? Currently, if you set the Game language to Spanish in Loader GX you can have the game titles in Spanish and the displayed synopsis will be the Spanish one if it is available.

I meant on the site, I don't use the GX loader, so I didn't know that it could show the synopsis, but is good to know that if the loader is set in SPA, it will show me the synopsis in SPA (if someone cared to write it
