Games/ tinfoil unable to open

I accidentally updated switch to 15.0 so I updated atmosphere i was getting this error https://i.imgur.com/K43A5eU.jpg ,but got it working. In doing trouble shooting Im not sure what happened but now my tinfoil and games give me the screen "unable to open". I deleted tinfoil and tried to reinstall it but is not showing up on the home screen. I can open the album to get into that homebrew menu, so I dont know what to do.

i tried to reinstall with tinleaf using usb or from the card and i get this error https://imgur.com/N7gilVs. Also why would my other games not open ? The games are showing as taking up space on the card, but when i try to play them i get unable to start software.

I just keep getting issues after issues now, and I dont even know how to begin to explain. When im in the hekate menu and I click on launch. I now have 3 options I didnt have before and im so confused with the sig patches and tinfoil not installing im so lost.

I went looking for sigpatches on this site, on here there is a topic with sig patches, I downloaded the life linked in the first post and installed the files. Now my hekate_ipl file has 3 cfw MMC's that i dont think i originally had and when i click on them they give me errors.

I got my hekate file fixed and now im back in my switch, still cant install tinfoil and ill look around for 15.0 sigpatches

you need latest tinfoil.nro from tinfoil site

If you updated everything properly (tinfoil 15, atmosphere and sigpatches), tinfoil should launch without any issue.
Btw if you have an old version of tinfoil you'd better completely remote it and reinstall tinfoil 15, instead of overwriting the old install. I tried to overwrite my existing tinfoil before (self installer version) and got a black screen when launching it.

as randy said, you need to delete the tinfoil folder on sd card before launching the fw15 tinfoil.nro

Im pretty sure iv deleted everything for tinfoil on my card before trying to install it, not sure what im doing wrong lol
