Depends on how much effort you're willing to put into the project. Techically you could solder some wires to the LCD driver's output and then work on converting that, but I don't see why you wouldn't just use the output that's on the console itself.

Last time I used my Wii U (many months ago) I remember that there was an option to play Wii games with a WII controller on the gamepad, and thought it would be nice if I could hook the gamepad up to a TV in a different room to play those games.
I am currently looking for the cables and things I misplaced to hook the system back up.

EDIT
I normally use my computer monitor for consoles (and my PC), as it has HDMI, Component, and DVI.

There has been talk of it here and there from the 3ds capture forums, but nothing has come of it yet. Really the only use for it is showing a video where the GP and TV have entirely different screens and you want to show them simultaneously.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
