Hardware GameCube link cable on switch

So I got a Gba gameGame link cable, thinking I could my Gba on my switch and well, that didn't work so now I'm trying to figure out how to get the Gba to read on the switch/wiiuadapter. Me and a few people talk about it in discord, and we came to the conclusion that it could be possible to make a rom file that tricks the switch/wiiu adapter to think it's a GameCube controller, but I don't know how to code thst, mainly cause I haven't found how the switch/wiiuadapter reads it as a gamecugamecuGa controller. I have found pinouts for the Gba link cable and GameCube ports,and I know that the GameCube link cable uses only 3 pins but, agian I don't know how to program a rom to do this. So I guess I'm asking for help/ more info on how to make this possibly function. Please any thank you

Me and someone else on discord also said maybe an aduino on the link cable its self could do it too
