Gamecube game - Mario Bros Melee (PAL) does not wotk in Japanese Wii with D2Ckey installed? Just boots up and shows a blankscreen. Can anyone help?

I don't think a Japanese or USA Wii supports PAL video. NTSC TV sets often don't either, unlike PAL TVs which are almost universally fine with NTSC consoles.
