The thread title here pretty much have sums it up. Is there some way to use a GCN controller on the system menu?
That's what I was afraid of. I'm a little tired of swapping between controllers every 5 seconds, lol.nope, although you would use a Classic Controller on the System Menu
I do. The issue is that I have forwarders set up on my system menu, so... Would defeat the purpose of having those anyway. What I was hoping is that someone had found a way to trick the Wii into thinking it was a classic/pro controller while on the menu. What I do is set my Wii to auto boot into The Homebrew Channel that can be controlled fine with the GC controller. This of course requires you to have a modded Wii.

I appreciate the advice, but this one was kind of all or nothing thing for me![]()
That might be an option... I will have to think on it.Well you can set usbloader GX to read your system menu forwarders installed to your nand and set it to autoboot from priiloader and have everything there and use a Gamecube controller
Good thing I use USBLGX thenbut other the a USB loader you really have no other options it's either use a USB loader or use the system menu
The priiloader + USB Loader GX combo worked well for me. Just make sure you have a nand backup first. But anyway, with this new setup I actually don't even have to touch a Wii Remote unless an application or game requires it.I don't really care much about the system menu, but I wish there was a way to control Netflix with the gamecube controller. I agree OP, it gets annoying having to switch back and forth.
