Hacking GAMECUBE CONTROLLER ISSUES!

~Bump~

Since this thread is not closed and my countless hours of searching the net for a solution is endless.. I'd like to add that I have the same problem.. I've went from downgrading my CFG Usb Loader(r51) down to all of the previous ones just for it to not work..

OP suggested to try installing mios v10 then go back to dm 2.5 and still to no avail..

Right now I am re installing DM back to v10 and will attempt some other shenanigans.. Some help would be gladly appreciated.

-The breakdown.

Games loads smoothly to their cinema but no response at all from GC Controller. Attempted to remove/insert, insert only when the game loads up and also tried without a memory card.. Furthermore~

Attempted a few different troubleshooting.. Upgrading/Downgrading of both the loaders and DM versions and tried OP suggestion and still getting no response from the controller.

Mystery solved! Some models of the Wii need a Gamecube disc in the drive and some do not in order to load and for the controller to work. If a game loads and the GC controller is not recognized, then you probably need a GC disc in the drive for your version of the WII, in order for the GC controller to work. Also, on this model (I don't know which models require the GC disc) a WII disc will not suffice. Also, on this model some games will not load and give a green screen when trying to load without a GC disk in the drive.

Oddly with mine, only the analog right trigger doesnt work. It might be both the right and left but the games I play may only need the right. Does it both through a usblauncher or from the disc channel. I think I am using dios mios 2.8

anyone else run into this?
