Hacking GameCube Backup Loader v0.2 + AR

I want to be able to use Action Replay codes on my backups.

If I load Action Replay, it will load, then I select my codes, and click Play Game. It tells me to open the lid, which means eject the game. I Insert the backup and then it just goes black.

It will work for a legitimate disc. So, the question is: "How do I use AR codes for backups?" I can't find anything on this subject.

Action Replay doesn't work with backups...

I got the Action Replay Loader 1.14 dol from buzbee working on a 4.1E Wii..it only works with ORIGINAL Gamecube games.

What you need:

- Homebrewchannel installed
- Buzbee Action Replay Loader 1.14 (eurasia has it)
- 3rd Party memorycard in slot 2
- Wiigator's Mios from backuplauncher 0.2 (the one that comes with the AR loader doesn't work, neither does Waninkoko's mios)

et voila...

works like a charm

What exactly is the "Buzbee Action Replay Loader 1.14?" Is it something I'd have to buy? If so, how much is it? Link please?

That is really sad. Just because it is a console from a previous generation does not at all mean it isn't worthwhile to get the most out of the Wii and play these great games as well. Heck, some of the GC games are even better than current Wii games

I was personally hoping to see a new cMIOS installer with v9 support...

Sounds like something that could happen if people start developing the GC Backup Loader again. But currently it is not possible.
