Hacking Gamecube Backup Launcher Error

Ok lets get the obvious out of the way so I don't get stupid questions/answers that don't help.

1) On a 4.0U Wii
2) I have IOS249
3) Installed and patched mIOS

Burnt mario power tennis ntsc on a dvd-r at 4.x and getting "failed to read disc 345 error" What am I missing here?

I got that error on a friends wii, apparently didnt like a certain brand of discs. Took the discs home and they worked fine

But have you set the booktype to DVD-ROM?
Also, if you cant get that figured out, try DVD-R discs

No. Only DVD+R needs to be booktyped DVD-ROM.

Obvious questions:

1. Are other games working with this brand of disc?
2. Have you tried burning again with same brand? - sometimes you get a bad disc

you wont belive this but i put the disc in the wrong way this entire time
