Homebrew Game Updates? Only the newest available update needed?

I have been piling up manual game updates. Is just the most recent release game update needed?

Game Update v1.01
Game Update v1.02
Game Update v1.03
Game Update v1.04

If I install v1.04 does that include all previous updates? Or do i have to install each individual update?
