Hacking Game update not taking effect

I just installed LOZ MM and was told there was an update. I downloaded the update, but it still asks every time I try to play. The game is the pal version on my American system, but the region lock was removed. Should I try to look for a European update to install, or would I be better off looking for the american version of the game?

You have an eu game and you installed the US update, that's why the game doesn't recognize it, only pokemon updates are region free. You can either download the cia eu update or use the US game.
