Hardware game slot problem

I've bought this one really cheap, wanted to put cfw oon it, but it's on 2.2.0 so i need to update, but game slot isn't working, tried cleanig with alcohol on the game cartridge, multiple insterts, nothing. Opened it and I can't seem to find anything wrong. Could anyone help?

Well in the old Tutorial from plailect he descript hiw to update via ctrTransfer.. I have to have look if this is still present in the tut. I had to do this once as I didnt had a gamecart with the right update version. Ill have a look for you[emoji6]

you can always buy a replacement cartridge slot and replace it yourself, easiest route.

I'm not sure but I think you can access Decrypt9 fram your version. I'll tag @d0k3

I will accept any help I can get. I tried the download play option, but no luck, i dont have the necessary game, my Mario Kart is revision 1

Try installing A9LH via SafeA9lhInstaller. It might / should work from 2.2. Just use the guide, starting at the A9LH installer step.
