Right, I feel that I can start to focus on porting. New highscores will be easy to implement!

Great!, I'll definitely help you out in the testing fields, like I said though I don't have a 3DS so I can't test that, but I can test future ports to the Wii and DS

I however think the Daily highscores shouldn't be limited to 1 try a day, I know it was probably just for testing but I like to be able to beat my high score, for games like this for me to get a good high score I need to get into a groove ya know
I thought about this for a while.
Here are the problems;
I have no way to differentiate between users with the same name and so if you get a better score, I may update somebody elses score as they have the same name.
I need to update scores because otherwise we would have all of the top slots filled with a really good player.
I'm not too sure what to do. You can practice on normal play for a while to get good, but I know what you mean.

Please suggest anything, it all helps.

Make an All-Time High Score Table and Make a Daily Table, or have a page that you can link to in the game that the All-Time Table is located at.

Also Multi-player should be turn based nothing else or I can't see it working out too well unless you got some ideas.
The plan is to have 2 players each moving independently, each second (this is the current rate) an object is spawned on the opponents screen at their current y.

So multiplayer on different devices, kind of like Pokemon Puzzle challenge for the GBC?
So are we talking about 1 person on pc and another on 3ds or another port?

PC only. I just about know how on PC, let alone on devices that I have never programmed on before.

One thing you need to change is Full Screen mode should be activated with the F11 key instead of Alt+Enter.(I prefer my games in full screen)When I first loaded the game I pressed Alt+Enter to switch to full screen and didn't get to enter my name

Another idea I just came up with, when entering a name the game should check with the leaderboards to make sure some else isn't already using that name. If a user decides that they want to change their name all highscores tied to that name should be erased, for example I used my real name If I want to go by AcidFlare it should erase my Highscores with my real name attached to it

  • New UUID system for names.
  • Names are unique.
  • Ability to change names and have the change show on highscores.
That is all.

You must update, the server will not work with older versions.

Sweet I just downloaded it. you need to make a change log though either in a spoiler in the OP or in a txt file with the game

the spoilers probably didn't work because there are size tags surrounding the spoiler tags.
it's maybe due to using the full editor.
see if you can disable the text size before opening a spoiler.

(or use the old/classic text editor and add [ spoiler=Title] blabla [ /spoiler] manually.)
