Gaming Game recommendations please

My son is a little too young to play GTA Chinatown Wars and would like a similar style of game to play instead. He is after a game in which he is able to to carry out missions and enter/exit different vehicles to drive.

Can anyone think of anything without any bad language in please?

Thats a pretty nitch list of specifications dude. I dont know if you are going to find much other than GTA lol.

Mission based games are usually FPSs or RPGs with quest elements... but no vehicles. Unless you count boats and airships.

That's a very hard one.
Especially since this thread is posted in the DS section... to clarify, you want DS game recommendations like GTA without bad language and stuff?

I think the Transformer games are what you are looking for. Its like GTA in terms of a sandboxed experience, and you are a Robot that can turn into a car. You do missions as well.

I'm disappointed in the gbatemp nds community for not recommending this kid friendly GTA style game. Cop: The Recruit, has everything you're looking for, open world, exiting and going in vehicles, taking on missions to take out bad guys. There is less violence and drugs in GTA, so I'm sure your child will like it. If not get him Chrono Trigger, every kid has to play chrono trigger.
