Hardware Game Reader Slot - New Version Or Old Version

Hello all,

I want to buy a new game reader slot because my gf can't play game other that acnh installed on the switch so i have to choose :

Card Reader have two version :

Old version with serial on ribbon cable LCD or
New Version with QR Code on ribbon LCD

But i have disassembled and i have looked around but i see nothing no qr code and no serial
