Hacking Game icons missing

howdy...i've just downloaded my first firmware update to my M3 in hopes of getting the game icons to show up. the update to e30 went smoothly but i'm still not seeing the icons - how do i get these to show up? i've re-flashed several games to no avail - would i have to re-flash all of 'em?
