Game Gears: Shinobistyle Sidescroller

Hi guys,

i am desperately looking for a game for the Game Gear. For some reason i can't remember the name. Its a Shinobi style sidescroller and must be released in EU because it was bought there ages ago by a friend of mine. I tried many roms but no dice. It had some nice music tunes and fancy weather effects, kinda good for that time and system. The only other thing apart from being fun is that it is NOT shinobi but a knockoff of some sort. Any hints would be appreciated because i became slightly obsessed finding that little bugger

Went through those shots, everything remotely resembling a ninja cutting through baddies isn't what i'm looking for

Maybe the retro effect clouded my vision and it actually looked worse than i thought

Any other ninja/shinobi/whatever throws shurikens style suggestions?

Have you thought about grabbing a full collection of GG roms and going through them on an emulator? Might be the easiest way to find it.
