Hacking Game doesn't see update

hello, i'm trying to install a game update with goldleaf but after finishing the installation the game still tells me there's an update available even though it's the latest update that i installed. i had previously installed the game and update and deleted it for space and now i am trying to reinstall it using a different update file than before and it's not working, can anyone help me with this?

maybe you're triying to install an update for another region.
EXAMPLE:
I have Super Mario Oddysey (USA)
I installed The JAP update
It won't work

I don't think thats the reason, the title id says its region is eur/usa and the id of the update corresponds
I had this same issue before with botw but it resloved when i installed the update from the file i used the very first time to update it but in this case i dont have that file anymore for this game

with devmenu you can reset the update status of a game. after that a game works without an update (if the game works without in general) or a lower update than before. otherwise the switch remembers the last installed update version, even when you delete the full game and the save game.
