Depends. At least on my end games like Final Fantasy VI Advance still give me lots of slowdowns (check my last post in the Retroarch thread) unless I'm doing something wrong.

That game does run a tad slow. However, there are better versions of the same game that run perfectly on the vita like the PS1 version so you could just play that version instead.
