Hacking G6 Real Skins

As I've been out of ideas for G6 skins for a while, I'm pretty much putting up a thread to see if people would like to give me requests (ideas) for skins they would like to see.

I've made two skins so far, they can both be found in the download section (click the image for link):


So, if you like my work and would like to see me make reality of one of your ideas, make a request here.

I liked the firefox one but I think the version number is useless and makes it look outdated and the icons are a bit confusing

BTW, are you making them for firmware 2.41?

Yes I'm making them compatable with 2.41 (adding GBA icons)

No complaints here. As long as I have Will Smith greeting me on every start up I'll be quite content. Thanks for making a Fresh Prince skin for me

Your RO and Firefox skins are great. I use both, but mostly the RO one.

I too, would like a heroes skin, if you could look into it, but I have to say I would like a Final Fantasy skin more. THanks!

Sorry I haven't had much time lately guys, been loaded with projects and homework. I'll have the bel-air one done by this weekend, promise. I'll be working on a final fantasy one next.

Simply alter the images in the Skin1 folder and save them as the same names into a Skin2 folder.

You'll need to work-out where the icons and menus overlap - but you can almost count the pixels once on the DS itself...

Well, since mitch star has not made a specific request, I will now begin work on a Final Fantasy original skin.

Edit: As original final fantasy content is difficult to find (especially art), I will work on a FFIII DS skin.

Excellent.. I would request that one, or even one of the upcoming ones which have been available as JPN releases for a while (FF Tactics DS, FF:Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates or FFXII Revenant Wings).

They will be popular by the time the translation is released!
