I just got my G6 lite today and I am having problems getting .sav files from pokemon games over to any working state on the g6 itself. I am able to flash the roms just fine and play games just fine; it is the .savs that don't seem to transfer over properly.

As of right now, I have been working with Pokemon Emerald/Ruby. I load up a gameshark screenshot in vba that works fine and lets me play. I then save within the emulator and make a .sav for the pokemon rom. Then I use the g6 sav converter that change the .sav to a .0 file. When I put them all on my g6 and go to play the games, I am told "The save file was deleted...". Is there something I am doing wrong? Does something need to be changed for pokemon games to work properly? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

G6 save converter...

I am using the save converter. The saves, however, are not transferring over with it. Emerald tells me that the save file has been corrupted so it is reverting to the previous save and Ruby just tells me "The save file has been deleted..."

Is VBA creating 128k save files? Both those games use 128k saves, and I've never been able to get VBA to use a 128k save file. I haven't really put much effort into it though.

If you can get VBA to spit out a 128k battery file, that should work on the G6 without converting it. Just rename it to .0
