i was planning to get a wifi adapter and play online and this question came into my mind.

one other question, is it possible to play online with 5kb/s? or i should have ADLS ?

Yes you can play online with a g6 lite. As for the code i think it is ds specific not card. So you are fine there.

The speeds i am not so sure about. i am guessing you are running dial up and are going to use the wifi dongle thing. But i can tell you dsl works great.

thnx man,But I believe the code is unique to each card, not DS, since the users have difference codes for their games in their signatures, if it was what u say, they would say just one number and anyone would be able to add them.

could someone who played online with a G6 plz verify about this please?

The ds it is in when it creates the friend code has to have something to do with it because all of us with carts use the same official release of the games.

maybe its like MAC address of Network Cards, some built in hardware thing which is built into the physical card itself and copiers don't copy it into the ROM, just an opinion.

AFAIK, friend codes are generated with 2 numbers: one from the game, which is the same for each copy of that game, and one from the DS which is unique to that unit. The numbers are multiplied, or combined in some other way (I don't know how exactly, but that's not important for this question). This produces a unique number for each game on each DS.

AFAIK, you can play online with any flashcart.

Yes you can. The gba loader is stand alone in a sense that if you never boot the thing with a passcard the nds side will never exist to you. Plus the pack comes with a gba sized case too if you were wondering.

You can find software and firmware updates here:

Installing new firmware is easy, just place the g6loader.sys & g6verify.sys in the root of the card (in windows), replace cart in the DS, boot into GBA mode and press the update button.

Hello, apologies if this has been asked, but how can I get my G6 DS Real to play GBA roms? I've been reading up and it seems you need a slot-2 flash cart, which I have, a Supercard MiniSD.

Hi there guys,
My g6 lite memory card got stolen, from the damn state police, believe it or not, but i still have the memory card usb reader, the passcard that goes into the ds game slot & the g6 software on my PC obviously along with all my ds roms.
My question is can i buy like one of them super cards for the gba nds slot, that u can attach an sdhc memory card into, that Amazon sells online & then just flash the memory card with the g6 lite software & load my roms onto that to play on my nintendo ds? Or does it have to be the actual g6 gba memory card & Im screwed?
Thanks any answer to this question will be much greatly appreciated.
