The protests are only in Hong Kong, the rest of the country is already more or less under full communist rule.

For patched consoles? Only up to firmware 7.0.1. For Mariko units, ETA is never. Just get an unpatched unit on eBay.

Because that is what SciresM and ReSwitched have stated. If you want to be more optimistic, you could say we do not know but no one has any hope for a softmod on Mariko. TX is releasing a hardmod so that doesn't count.

Supposedly TX has a mod chip for all versions of the Switch but there is no evidence to back up the claim.
