Gaming Fun open world games?

I've been playing a lot of BotW, and since I don't have a Switch (yet) I'm wondering if there are any fun open world games on the 3DS that have a similar feel.

These are the only ones that come into my mind right now that have an explorable world

Yeah, that's a plus (and also it's lotsa fun to play)

Yeah its a whole lot for 13 Megabytes, oh yeah also its a very fun GTA clone, which is the only reason I decided to play the game in the first place

I think it's really pushing it to call Pokemon Sun and Moon open world before you beat the game, when it's the most closed pokemon has ever been. IMO

Try Pokémon XD for the GameCube. It's the most closed Pokémon game ever, but I like it!
