Hi. I have a n3DSXL. I never backed it up except game saves using JKSM. I think I should backup the whole 3DS to my PC regularly... How to do it? Thank you
I cannot enter GM9 holding start when restarting? How to check if I have the latest version of it and if not, how to get it back? (I have FBI, FTPDB) thxUse GM9 to backup your entire SysNAND, Otp.bin and arm9/arm11 dumps (all can be done with the GM9 scripts), then use JKSM to dump all your saves (newest version added mass dumping so really simple) but remember to also dump extra data as some games save there instead. Finally, backup all contents from your SD card by making a copy over to your computer. This final backup WILL be encrypted, but should anything happen, having the initial stuff I mentioned can give you hope of 100% recovery even on a completely different 3DS.
I have finally entered GodMode9! I used it to backed-up SysNAND, dumped Otp.bin and boot9/boot11 (are they the same as arm9/arm11?). Then, I used JKSM to dump all my saves and extra data by touching "Dump All".Use GM9 to backup your entire SysNAND, Otp.bin and arm9/arm11 dumps (all can be done with the GM9 scripts), then use JKSM to dump all your saves (newest version added mass dumping so really simple) but remember to also dump extra data as some games save there instead.
