Seeing the gameplay shots, it's playing similar to Mechassault or most likely Armored Core. A pretty good alternative to Armored Core and it's made by Square-Enix and it's Front Mission so you know it's going to be good.

Awesome, looks like it will be great. I loved Front Mission for the DS and here is another game I could really enjoy playing, although imo giant robot games are best with joysticks. Mech based games give me a huge boner btw

Square Enix is going to have stiff competition though in this genre as there is a new MechWarrior game in the works that looks freaking amazing as hell.
