It really does sound like you thought you had discovered a new exploit though. Yes, I know now that isn't what you meant, but when was the last time a noob read beyond the first post before replying?

That particular attitude is what bothers people. Just because *you* don't know, doesn't mean other people don't know.

When people who are far more experienced and knowledgeable than you try and explain a topic you're asking questions about, don't just dismiss their knowledge and experience as insufficient. It's very rude and telling of your inability to accept that you may not know something and need to learn more.

Launching FriendList sysapplet closes Home Menu sysapplet. So when you quit FriendList, Home Menu is restarted and loads the theme data again, which triggers the exploit payload again.
