Hacking Friend bought R4i Gold

Alright, so one of my friends bought an R4i Gold and he needs help setting up YSMenu on it. I made it a .nds and when you boot it up it hangs with the touch screen showing some glitchy pixels on the first row.

Could someone help me out with this?

Question.... WHY did he get an R4i Gold? The thing's likely dead. If it's not, however, it seems like YSMenu is missing a couple of files, as I had a similar problem on my old DSTT. Go through the installation instructions one more time and make sure you do everything.

Have you looked @ the YSMenu WIKI ???

There's a link there for setting up instructions for an R4 - don't know if it applies to an R4i though

I used R4 YSAuto with the patches so that it can run BiS/S&SASR/D.I.Y.
Although, halfway through it did complain about a DLDI related thing. I forget what is was.
