I have had my R4 for quite awhile but recently during any game that I try to play, sometime during play the game would freeze. This has happened on many different games, such as Pokemon and now recently DQM:J. This has happened on other games, just more frequently on these(probably cause I was playing them more

). Anyways what could be the problem?

This happened to me when I was playing Age of Empires. The game just suddenly froze up and something started emitting strange buzzing sounds; I think it was the DS itself.

I'm using firmware 1.11, so I don't suppose that can be the problem. Any ideas anyone?

Can happen when the R4 loses contact slightly with the pins in the DS. Try making the R4 more snug of a fit by taping some paper or thin card to the front of the unit over the label so it pushes it on to the pins more.

That happened to me in Phantom Hourglass when I had a lot of cheats enabled...

Well I only experienced this strange thing: After my DS lite battery died on me while I was playing Pokemon Ranger (and before I could save because I just started it), whenever I tried playing it I couldn't see my character or any other people in the game. I was able to play normally after overwriting the game file with the one I had on my HD.

And my little brother mentioned something about a strange buzzing kind of noise after a soft reset.
