Hacking Freezing Issues

This has been an ongoing issue for me. I've been trying for many weeks now to resolve this, but with no luck. Any USB Loader that tries to install a game to my USB will just freeze. Very rarely will it get to halfway done and then it just freezes. I keep thinking that it's my cIOS (d2x cIOS v10-beta-53-alt), but I have changed the versions and each one does NOT fix this. I also cannot install cIOS from certain apps because it says "HASH BAD". I am running a newer Wii (but not black or red), so maybe it's not supposed to...

Try running a App called "Pimp My Wii" usually will Detect,DL and install any missing/out of date IOS/cIOS on ur System.....also have latest WiiFlow/USB Loader GX/CFG Loader they should Ripp no problem

have you tried d2x cIOS v8? that's the last stable version.

I wouldn't recommend to anybody to use "pimp my wii"

edit, so it does install the game part way then stops? perhaps you have a dirty laser lens, have you tried to clean it?

Do not install/Use Pimp-my-Wii.
Do not use cIOS to dump your disc.

That way, you will know if it's a cIOS problem or not.
use this application : Clean Rip
Clean Rip use the official IOS 58 to access USB, this is the most compatible version and can mount all devices.

If CleanRip doesn't work, then it's maybe your HDD.
Did you think it could be your HDD? did you try another one?

Sorry to be Ignorant but whuts the deal with Pimp My Wii? Had a problem with couple games not running(Black Ops,Kirby collection,etc) used this and was missing a IOS i believe it installed and games loaded fine after that.....

he doesn't need it, his problem is not the cIOS.
And if it really is the cIOS, pimp my wii will not fix it because he already has the latest version installed.

he should try official IOS + Clean RIP, or try an old cIOS (d2x v8), or another USB.

This sums it up:

Pimp My Wii is a good idea, but nothing should mess with every IOS all at once. It also does a lot of bad things like patching every single IOS and updating cIOS's like 222/223 that should stay at an earlier version.

There's no reason to patch every IOS. Pimp My Wii does incredibly questionable stuff. If you're looking for an all-in-one solution...well there's a reason that we all suggest ModMii and nothing else.

Back on topic: do what Cyan said. That's a name you can trust. I'd recommend exactly what he said had he not already said it.
