I've put together this group to display interesting snacks and drinks I've come across. I'm inviting other users to post and share. Not everything has to be candy, soda or unhealthy items alike. Most of mine will be but I don't recommend anyone being like me. :-)

Found this at a dollar store equivalent. I heard of freeze dried gummy candies before but I've never heard of this kind or this brand or their parent company or anything, and Google can't find them and basically I'm eating mystery chunks of completely unknown origin so wish me luck.

But they're great. Gummy cola bottles freeze dried into pumice-like nuggets. Sweet sour cola flavor, crunchy brittle texture at first that melts into gooey cola syrup. The whole experience is very interesting.

€2.50 for 60 grams / 2 ounces sounds like a lot but this is pure concentrated flavor and diabeetus, and there's a decent amount of pieces in there so it's fine.

Give freeze dried gummy candy a try if you see them.

I had freeze dried Skittles. The first few were good, but really only because they were so unique trying for the first time. After a handful it was like... Ish, I may as well just buy a box of sugar cubes to suck on.

Funny I just bought a bag of freeze dried caramel m&ms I kind of like letting freeze dried stuff rehydrate in my mouth, definitely odd for m&ms but it still changes the texture you don't see that much chocolates freeze dried. They were on discount for $3. Maybe the fads dying out since big names got involved who knows.

They have the texture of dried out meringue, the only flavor is in the thin coating of food coloring, and the rest is like eating dry sugar. And the flavor is mostly citric acid.

The gummies are totally different, the flavor gets more intense as they melt and become stocky cola syrup. There's really no comparison, the gummies are much better.

No surprises there, it was going to be very sugary. Sadly I'd probably have them expire way faster than I'd be able down the whole pack, but it's interesting as I haven't seen this sort of candy before.
