anybody had success with Dirt Rally? It says it added to my Steam Library, but its not there and I cant install or play it... good freebie if it comes through!

I'm experiencing the same thing. Trying to run the game through its store shop does nothing except make the steam window not close when I try to. I sent steam a message to see if they can resolve it.

Many seem to have that issue judging by the reviews, possibly could be YET ANOTHER game on Steam that doesn't actually have all the files it needs to launch

game wouldn't have a generally positive review if that was the case, and would've been fixed already since it released in 2015

You know patches can break games and that installing a game on Steam gets you the latest version even if broken, right? Anyways, we'll have to wait and see...

Well, that's good to know, sorta... First time I ever contact them, though. On a different note, GOG.com have been really quick at getting back to me the few times I contacted them.

Don't know about the not starting, but I'm pretty sure the no showing up in library is because whoever did the discount didn't do it properly and changed the actual price to free instead of making it a temporary drop and Steam doesn't show free-to-play games in library. That means once the promo ends and it goes back to proper price it will show up.

have you tried copying and pasting it into your browser address bar? it should come up with a popup telling you to open steam

Yes did it so.
It always returns then to the Window with the Gameplay Video and the Game Details.

make a shortcut to another game you have then in its properties change the id to dirt rally's and try that (unless you already did also)

It's like how I said, they did the discount the wrong way, so it was considered free by Steam itself, that's why it didn't show up in libraries. Now if only we can get it to run

If you got it from Humble Bundle then you should be okay I think.

I got mine from Humble Bundle on August 30th and I can see mine on Steam as purchased, not free. I haven't tried to run it tho.
