I hate Microsoft and their shit so much. They are too stupid to get things done right.
I had to login and then verify my account. Neither the email nor the SMS with the code are arriving here.

I agree with lordelan. I hate Microsoft! I not fans of Microsoft Windows store anymore. I'm old school fans of Windows XP to 7. Want to know why? I learned when Windows 8.x operating system going in end of support and Microsoft remove / disable / delist Windows store means people can't get own digital games to download anymore. How sad news for people lost digital bought on Windows store own by Microsoft is terrible. It will going hit Windows 10 soon for Windows store to be gone for good. Then Windows 11 in around year 2031 or so and affect Windows 12 far in the future. Windows store is worst ever. We must stick with exe package which are offline friendly similar to GOG, Steam with cracked, etc something like that. Never, never trust Microsoft Windows store period.

If what internet is going to broke down then many games are unable to play when Microsoft kill support off on Windows store in near future. I recommend GOG all over than all others and they can't beat GOG store for offline and don't have DRM built in them. GOG is best ever. B-)

Towaga: Among Shadows is now free on Steam, as the PC license is about the expire and the game will be delisted.

You can get a free FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Accessory: Kupo Charm & Survival Set (no need to have the base game) if you:
  1. Log into your Steam account.
  2. Watch this stream for a bit more than 30 minutes. (It took me around 32 or so minutes.)
  3. Check your License page to see if you got the set or not. (Make sure to check that since there'll be no notification.)
A bit tedious task, but it works. You can probably get it through Twitch drops as well but I haven't tested it out.

Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee (the mobile game) is free to claim on Epic Games via their Android and iOS apps.
Alternatively, you can use this link to add both versions to the cart and check out.

It seems that there will be a monthly giveaway for those mobile games for a few months before they switch to weekly freebies.

Crime Simulator: Prologue will be going free to paid on Steam soon so grab it while you still can.
Apparently, it'll be renamed to just Crime Simulator (no more Prologue only).

P.S.: Make sure to check the previous post just in case you missed something among all those edits of mine.

the web browser links for these just lead to a "missing account id" error

edit: i had to sign in in a separate browser page

The Backrooms Regret is going free to paid soon on Steam so grab it while you still can.

A bit tricky one: Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio is free to get on GOG if you're from Brazil due to a price discount bug. Others were successful by using VPN and changing their currency, so maybe give it a shot if you have a VPN. Asking a friend from Brazil to claim it for you also works. ^^

Thanks for reporting back! It seems like they fixed it in the meantime. Sometimes those discount bugs happen but apparently they are fixed just as quickly.

EDIT #1 (NEW!):
Not a free game but you can grab free animated stickers (3 of them) on Steam for the Steam Lunar New Year 2025.

What are stickers for? For chat communication? Avatar personalization? Ligma?

it's probably intended to be done on the mobile app where it auto closes the window after it goes through, the desktop client does this too but it auto closes the white window

Dying Light - 10th Anniversary Bundle is free on Epic Games and GOG if you have the base version of the game. Apparently, it was available on Steam as well, but it doesn't show up as free for me. It's also available on Steam if you own the base game.

Previously, the Dying Light: Standard Edition was given away on Epic Games so there's a chance that you might have it in your library.
Additionally, you can add the rest of the free DLC as well.

On GOG, you can apparently gift yourself the DLC and you'll get the key. If you buy a game in the future, you'll be able to redeem the DLC as well.

On Steam, you can also grab the free DLC available for that game (the soundtrack doesn't require you to have the base game).
