Found three abandoned kittens, what do I do?

Since it's much easier to convey what I say through dialog than explaining my situation...

What am I supposed to do when I find three "lost" (maybe abandoned) small kittens in my back yard?
And this happened yesterday but I totally forgot about them

What do I do with the kittens? Not sure how to take care of them

Even if I'll be calling animal control, what would I do if I kept one?

AND should I feed them? With what?

edit-They have a mother. Probably went on hunting expeditions while I wasn't looking.

I think you can buy kitten formula at pet stores; take a look, I guess. And have 'em checked, they could be potentially be sick or something.

get the kittens to a vet would be a good start.

if they are newborn kittens you should hand them to the animal rescue because they need special care or they will die because they dont have their mum.

vet would need to deworm them. Also, if you feed them kitten formula(K-mar) make sure you don't give them aspiration pneumonia due to over zealous feeding. Get them fed every 2-3 hours(no sleep for you), make sure that they dont have feline leukemia or feline aids, get them dewormed and check for congenital defects such as cleft palate. ENJOY!!! also, save up lots of $$$$$$$$ lol

when they are little i believe they won't last long if there is no mother kitten feeding them (or some human) and even if you do not want cats you need to at least not let them die !

A life is a life and you can't just look away ! if you want cats take em and help them have a happy life, if not bring them to some pet doctor or whatever.

When i was in Greece with a friend we found a box with dog babys who would have died ... in the end we gave it to some ppl at the city hall cuz we didn't knew what to do (but we knew we couldn't let them die) and maybe they are now happy dogs living with nice ppl ... or not ... at least we did the right thing

If your being serious about keeping one of them
1.Get it neutered you do not want loads more kittens if it is a female and if it is a male you do not want it marking it's territory (pissing on your furniture)
2. Get flee spray/powder you do not want flees infesting your home
3.Get it vaccinated at a vets they can get feline leukemia, feline aids and feline flu and die.
4.Get worming tablets if they get worms they will be very ill and lose weight and in the end die.
5.Feed and water it every day just buy kitten biscuits from the local shop no need for canned food till they are about 6 months old.
6. Feel the love it gives you for looking after it and enjoy
If not give them to a animal shelter.
i have a cat and love it they are so funny sometimes.

yeah, make sure you don't get tapeworms either. Also toxacara worms-they can cause blindness in people!! ENJOY!! I almost forgot, make sure there are no skin mite(Notoedres or sarcoptic)-they too can be transmitted to people-very itchy. Also, my personal favorite is feline ringworm(microsporum canis)-that too is very itchy! Get the picture yet phood! Get kitten to vet!!

Don't forget the potential(albeit low) of RABIES!!! ENJOY!!

AND I just remembered, it was Yesterday when I found them, but they've probably been there longer since most likely they were born there.
